01 30-Day Return Eligibility

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your gemstone to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your gemstone must be in the exact same condition that you received it: unworn, unmounted, unaltered, free from scratches or chips, in its original tamper-evident KFG vault packaging, and accompanied by the original physical laboratory certificate and tax invoice.

02 How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please contact our Mumbai concierge desk at concierge@kfgjewellers.com with your order number and reason for return. Approved returns must be dispatched via insured courier to our Mumbai vault:

If your return request is accepted, we will share return shipping instructions and packaging guidelines. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return authorization will not be accepted.

03 Inspection Upon Delivery & Transit Damages

Please inspect your parcel immediately upon reception. We recommend recording a continuous unboxing video of the sealed package. Contact us within 24 hours of delivery at concierge@kfgjewellers.com if the package seal is tampered with, damaged in transit, or if there is any discrepancy, so our team can evaluate the issue immediately.

04 Exceptions & Non-Returnable Items

Certain categories of orders cannot be returned for a cash refund:

• Custom-Mounted Jewellery: Bespoke rings, pendants, or bracelets crafted to order in Gold, Silver, Platinum, or Panchdhatu/Ashtadhatu are custom-made to your specifications and are non-returnable. (However, the natural gemstone itself remains eligible for KFG’s lifetime vault exchange/upgrade programme).
• Altered or Missing Certificates: Gemstones returned without their original physical laboratory report (GIA, IGI, GII, IIGJ, etc.) or stones that have been set/mounted by a third-party jeweller.
• Special Sourcing & Sale Items: Custom-sourced bespoke parcels, promotional sale items, and gift cards are final sale.

05 Exchanges & European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period

Exchanges: The fastest way to acquire an alternative stone or carat weight is to initiate a return for your current loose gemstone, and once approved, place a new order or request a direct vault exchange with our gemologists.

European Union 14-Day Cooling-Off Period: Notwithstanding the above, if merchandise is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. As above, the gemstone must be unworn, unmounted, in its original packaging with the original laboratory certificate and proof of purchase.

06 Gemological Verification & Refund Processing

Once your return arrives at our Mumbai vault, our gemologists will inspect the stone under magnification to verify that its weight, dimensions, and natural inclusions match the original specimen dispatched. We will notify you immediately once the inspection is complete.

If approved, your refund will be processed automatically to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please note that your bank or credit card provider may take additional time to post the funds to your statement. If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us at concierge@kfgjewellers.com.
